In celebration of our first year we are delighted to announce the First Give Awards 2015, recognising the amazing, work of our students, charities and teachers.
On Monday 12th Octoberat 7pm the Living Room at City Hall will be our iconic setting for our annual celebration which will bring together the very best of the programme from the past year.
The evening will showcase outstanding performances from First Give students and will provide a truly wonderful setting for our charities and teachers to share their experiences.
Over the next few weeks the First Give team will be collating nominations for the awards, which are as follows:
First Give School of the Year - This award recognises the school which has significantly embedded the programme across the year.
Best Teacher Award - This award recognises the teacher who has made a significant contribution, going above and beyond in their delivery of the First Give programme
Best Charity Award - This award recognises the charity which has gone above and beyond with their engagement of students on the First Give programme
Best Student Award - This award recognises a student or team who have gone above and beyond with their engagement of the First Give programme
Tim Pare, Director of First Give: “The awards will be a great way to celebrate the achievements of not only students on our programme but also the fantastic efforts of teachers and charities whom without their hard work there would be no First Give. As we move into our second year the event will launch our continued efforts to strengthen the third sector by promoting its engagement with young people.”
Invitations for the awards are currently being prepared and we hope you will be able to join us for what promises to be a truly inspiring evening.
